Village Flowers at Rookwood is operated by a private Sydney based company established in 1999. We offer a premium, reliable service for our customers and strive for 100% customer satisfaction.
BOOK YOUR RECEPTION
Please contact us to book one of our reception rooms as soon as you confirm your funeral service time. A credit card payment will be required to confirm your booking which is your venue hire fee. Please refer to capacities for the fee.
SELECT YOUR MENU
Please refer to our menu selection and advise our event manager which menu you would like. We offer a range of menus for various times of day as well as cultural menus. We require menu selection 2 working days before your reception. Catering will only be provided for the numbers estimated. Where numbers exceed your estimates, additional catering cannot be provided on the day.
SELECT YOUR ALCOHOL PACKAGE
Please refer to our beverage options, which include buffet service, glasses, ice, and set-up. Book the estimated number of adults attending. Where numbers exceed your estimates we will be able to provide additional beverage. You will be charged based on the actual number of adults that attend.
NUMBER OF GUESTS
We require an estimate of numbers at the time of booking. Final estimated numbers to be provided 2 working days prior to your reception.
Full payment is required when you finalise your numbers which is required 2 working days prior to your function. Payment must be made using a credit card. 3% surcharge applies for American Express cards and 1.5% for Visa and MasterCard.
AUDIO – VISUAL REQUIREMENTS
We have audio visual facilities available in both of our rooms. Please advise us if you would like to book these facilities and bring your photos in any of the following formats: DVD, USB Stick, Laptop
VILLAGE FUNCTIONS AT ROOKWOOD
The Rookwood Cemetery Function Centre was purpose built and completed in 2016 offering two beautiful air-conditioned rooms which
open onto outdoor verandas and beautifully maintained gardens. Both rooms offer a perfect environment to relax, enjoy refreshments and celebrate the life of your loved one.
There are two rooms within the Village Functions at Rookwood complex. We require a minimum of 30 guests for each reception room. Please refer to the room capacities for maximum numbers
SPECIAL DIETARY REQUIREMENTS
Vegetarian and gluten free guests will be catered for at no additional surcharge for all functions. For any other dietary requests please speak to our event manager.
If you cancel your function within 2 working days you will be charged the venue hire fee. If you cancel your function within 1 working day you will be charged the full amount.
All functions include buffet service and setup with floral arrangements, linen cloths, and quality white crockery. Food and beverages are self-served from the buffet tables. Unconsumed food, beverage and floral arrangements are unable to be removed from the venue.
Menu and beverage prices include self-service of food and beverages however staff are onsite to ensure that guests are well cared for, replenishment happens when required and the room is kept clean and tidy.
All functions are for 1.5-hour duration. We allow 30 minutes in between functions to ensure that guests have plenty of time to leave and arrive without confusion.
Surcharges are applicable for Sundays and public holidays. The following charges apply:
